Join fellow members of Old St. Pat’s as we come together at every Liturgy to offer the Sunday Giving Commitment member planning cards for 2010. Even if you have renewed or already submitted your form, just bring a copy and show your participation during the Offertory.

Another, simple way to plan your gift is to take your normal Sunday offering – whether it be through the Sunday basket, electronically or in the mail – and multiply that by 51 weeks.  The total becomes your intended annual pledge for the calendar year. Are you in search of someone to talk to about Sunday Giving Commitment?  Would you like to meet one-on-one to discuss how you can participate?  Well, look no further because “the Kate’s” are here to help!  During the months of October and November, Kate Rhodes, director of advancement, and Katie Loberg, development associate, will be available each Sunday to meet with you. They will be present at the morning and evening Liturgies outside of church at the bottom of the steps.  Kate and Katie look forward to meeting you, and thanking you for supporting the Sunday Giving Commitment. The Sunday Giving Commitment (SGC) is the name for ordinary Sunday giving throughout the year by members of Old St. Patrick’s Church.  The vital component to the Sunday Giving Commitment is the Member Planning Card, where members pledge their intended Sunday giving for the year.  These gifts are the primary resource, which supports the annual operational expenses of Old St. Patrick’s and allows the staff and volunteer leadership to honor the budget and thoughtfully plan for the year’s life enriching Liturgies, programs, and ministries.  The Sunday Giving Commitment is a critical planning tool needed to effectively host an active mission through the spirit, gifts, and service of the community!

Old St. Patrick’s Church reflects a vibrant and faith filled membership. Members are entrusted with the mission to serve the life and work of the laity in the world. The energy and resources for this transforming work thrives from the spirit, gifts and services that members share.

Membership through spirit brings to life those quiet, yet joyful moments for one another, our neighbors, friends, and visitors.  From participating as a Liturgical Minister to being part of the Ministry of Prayer, to finding spiritual companionship, membership through spirit fills the hearts and souls of so many.

Membership through gifts provides the financial resources to effectively plan for the operational expenses of Old St. Patrick’s. These gifts enable Old St. Pat’s to continue providing meaningful and vibrant ministries and programs throughout the year.

Membership through service calls on members to consider their volunteer involvement at Old St. Patrick’s and its partnering organizations. Volunteering echoes our mission to serve others.

From the magnificent artistry within the church to the harmonious musical and enlightening Liturgies, Old St. Patrick’s provides memories and experiences that shape and transform lives. We are all invited to host this spirited and holy place through supporting the Sunday Giving Commitment in spirit, gifts and service!

Sunday Giving Commitment is a way for the members of Old St. Pat’s to reflect on the many blessings received through their participation at Old St. Pat’s.
